Privacy Policy

If you're looking for work:

• Your name, email and phone number.
• Your resume, and anything you add to your profile: city, role, years of experience, certifications (like EPA 608 and NATE), skills, work history and a short summary.
• Your answers to an employer's questions and requirements when you apply.
• Which jobs you applied to and where each application stands.

If you're hiring: your name, company name, email, phone, company details and the jobs you post. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Everyone: your password is stored scrambled (hashed), never in plain text. We use one cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising trackers.

• Employers you apply to. When you apply, that employer gets your name, contact details, resume, profile and answers. Employers only see the people who applied to their jobs. Your profile is not a public, searchable list.
• Job listings we post for companies. Some listings are posted by us on behalf of a company that hasn't joined yet. If you apply to one of those, we forward your application to that company.
• Job seekers. Job listings, including company name and the contact email on the listing, are public.
• Services that run the site. Our hosting, database and file storage, Stripe for payments, an email service to send messages, and our customer-relationship tools. They only use your information to provide their service to us.
• When the law requires it, or to protect people from fraud or harm.

We email you about things you started: application confirmations, updates from employers, payment receipts, listing reminders and password resets.

If you sign up for job alerts, we send at most one email a week with new jobs. Every alert has an unsubscribe link, and you can turn alerts off in your profile.

We keep your account and applications while your account is open, so employers can review them and you can track them. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile and resume. Copies an employer already received may stay in that employer's own records.

• Edit your profile or replace your resume any time from your profile.
• Turn off job alerts from your profile, or with the unsubscribe link in any alert.
• Ask for a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion of your account by emailing support@phxtechjobs.com.

Resumes are kept in private storage that only you, the employers you apply to, and our team can open. Connections to the site are encrypted. No system is perfect, so please use a password you don't use anywhere else.

Phoenix Tech Jobs is for people old enough to work. It isn't meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top. For big changes, we'll also email account holders.
